Our promise: We believe the best business relationships are built on clarity and honesty. These terms are written in plain language — no hidden clauses, no surprises. If something is unclear, ask us before you sign.

1. Who We Are

Filtago is a Bangladesh-based company that helps businesses grow through two services:

  • Filtago Sourcing — Outsourced procurement for food importers. We handle supplier search, verification, quality inspection and shipment coordination across the Middle East, Asia and beyond.
  • Filtago BD — AI-powered automation for Bangladesh e-commerce businesses. Automate customer support on WhatsApp, Messenger and your website — 24/7. (Currently in development)

We have 10+ years of hands-on importing experience through our own companies (DatesHill and Foreign Food Pvt Ltd), operating across Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Vietnam and China.

2. Our Services

A. Filtago Sourcing — What's Included:

  • Finding and verifying suppliers in our sourcing countries
  • Negotiating pricing and terms on your behalf
  • On-ground quality inspection before shipment
  • Shipment coordination and follow-up until goods are dispatched
  • Regular reporting and communication throughout the process

What is NOT included (unless separately agreed):

  • Customs clearance at your destination port
  • Import licensing or regulatory compliance in your country
  • Warehousing or storage after goods arrive at your port
  • Insurance coverage for goods in transit

Why this matters: We want you to know exactly what you're paying for. If you need help with customs or logistics at your end, we'll connect you with trusted partners — but we won't charge you for services we don't directly control.

B. Filtago BD — AI Automation (Coming Soon):

  • 24/7 AI customer agent for WhatsApp, Messenger and website
  • Automated order processing and fake order detection
  • Voice and image reply capabilities
  • Facebook comment auto-reply and inbox management
  • Daily business reports via Telegram

Filtago BD is currently in development. Specific terms for this service will be added when it launches. Early adopters will be notified of any terms that apply to them.

3. How We Work Together

Every engagement starts with a conversation. Before any payment, we:

  • Understand your exact requirements — product, quantity, quality standards, budget
  • Share a clear scope of work and timeline
  • Agree on communication frequency and reporting format
  • Provide a written service agreement specific to your needs

We don't use one-size-fits-all contracts. Your agreement will reflect your specific needs.

4. Pricing & Payment

Our pricing is transparent and discussed upfront before any commitment:

  • Retainer-based monthly fees for ongoing partnerships
  • Project-based fees for one-time requests
  • Subscription plans for AI automation services (when available)
  • No hidden charges — if an additional cost arises (travel, sample shipping, etc.), we discuss it with you first

Payment terms:

  • Payment terms and schedule are agreed upon in your individual service agreement
  • We issue proper invoices for every payment
  • Accepted methods: bank transfer, or as mutually agreed

5. Quality & Accountability

This is where we stake our reputation:

  • We personally inspect or have our trusted local partners inspect goods before shipment
  • We provide photos, videos and inspection reports as evidence
  • If we find quality issues during inspection, we flag them immediately — you decide whether to proceed, not us
  • We never push you to accept goods that don't meet your standards

Our honest position on liability: We take full responsibility for our sourcing and inspection work. However, once goods are shipped and cleared by the supplier, responsibility for shipping damage, customs delays or port-side issues falls outside our direct control. We will always help you resolve disputes with suppliers, but we cannot guarantee outcomes of third-party logistics. For AI automation services, we ensure system uptime and accuracy but are not liable for business decisions made based on automated responses.

6. Confidentiality

Your business is your business:

  • We never share your supplier details, pricing, or business information with third parties
  • We never introduce your suppliers to your competitors
  • All supplier relationships we build for you belong to you
  • We expect the same respect — our supplier network and sourcing methods are our trade expertise

7. Communication & Reporting

We believe silence kills trust. You can expect:

  • Regular updates at the frequency we agree upon (weekly, bi-weekly, or per-shipment)
  • Immediate communication if any problem arises — we don't hide issues
  • Response to your messages within 24 hours on working days
  • Clear, honest answers — if we don't know something, we'll say so and find out

8. Ending the Relationship

We don't lock you in:

  • Sourcing retainer clients can cancel with 30 days written notice
  • AI automation subscriptions can be cancelled at the end of any billing cycle
  • Project-based work follows the agreed project timeline
  • If work is already in progress (supplier negotiations, sample orders), we'll complete the current stage and hand over all documentation to you
  • No exit fees, no penalties for leaving

If you're not satisfied with our work, we'd rather hear your feedback and improve than hold you to a contract.

9. Disputes

If a disagreement arises:

  • We start with a direct conversation — most issues can be resolved person to person
  • If needed, we escalate to written documentation and review
  • We aim to resolve any dispute within 30 days
  • If resolution isn't possible, disputes will be governed by the laws of Bangladesh

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. When we do:

  • We'll notify existing clients directly
  • Changes don't apply retroactively to existing agreements
  • The latest version is always available on this page
